Femi Banjo is a distinguished entrepreneur and strategic business leader with over 25 years of global experience across the Energy, Technology, Haulage, and Construction sectors. He is widely recognized for his ability to build, scale, and institutionalize businesses through sound corporate governance, strategic foresight, and disciplined execution. His leadership style is anchored in long-term value creation, operational excellence, and the development of sustainable indigenous enterprises.

Femi holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from Aston Business School, Birmingham, United Kingdom. He further strengthened his executive and scholarly excellence with a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Lagos Business School (LBS). In addition, he has attended several executive education programmes at leading business schools around the world, reflecting a strong commitment to continuous learning and global best practices in leadership, strategy, and management.

He began his career at Churchgate Group, where he progressed through senior commercial and logistics leadership roles, and later served as Business Development Manager and then the Company Operations Director at NES Global Limited. These roles equipped him with deep expertise in corporate operations, commercial strategy, governance frameworks, and organizational development, defining a consolidation for his entrepreneurial journey.

In 2010, he founded Sellafield Energy Resources Limited with the vision of creating a world-class indigenous service company for the Nigerian Energy sector, specifically for offshore support of major International Oil Companies (IOCs). Sellafield has evolved into a structured, professionally managed enterprise and a respected brand within Nigeria’s business ecosystem. He has since gone on to establish and provide strategic leadership to multiple companies, and currently sits on the boards of reputable organizations including Sellafield Offshore Limited, AIS Insurance Limited, Vantegral Consulting & Outsourcing, FM Proserv Ltd and Tephron Gas & Power Ltd. In these capacities, he provides strategic oversight, strengthens corporate governance structures, and guides long-term business growth and diversification.

Beyond business, Femi Banjo is deeply committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social impact. He spearheads the Beggars Can’t Be Children (BCBC), an (NGO) initiative and philanthropic platform dedicated to supporting vulnerable and underprivileged children through education, welfare support, and social intervention programmes. Through this initiative, he actively champions the belief that no child should be forced into street begging or denied access to basic opportunities for growth and development. Also, he is the founder of Gibbor Foundation, dedicated to developing and supporting buoying entrepreneurs and business enterprises, by providing mentoring and financial support to spin-offs and start-ups as they navigate Nigeria’s peculiar business climate. His CSR philosophies are built on the principle that sustainable business success must go hand in hand with meaningful societal contribution.
